I am a divorced mother of one beautiful 10 year old daughter, Jocelyn. Most of my time is spent being either a mom/homemaker, or the Administrator of a State Agency. Evenings are spent helping with homework, cooking dinner/cleaning, so that weekends can be a little more fun. Although I sometimes just rent a bunch of movies and vegetate. I like all kinds of music, but usually listen to pop rock or 80's rock. I'm not the sporty outdoors type, but I love the Oregon Coast and short hiking trips in the many area State Parks.

Other neat stuff

I like to travel, and have been in 33 or 34 States so far. I intend to visit all 50 before I reach 50! I have traveled out of the country only once - to Ontario, Canada! I got to see Niagra Falls. It was impressive, but now I understand why it's more of a honeymoon destination than a family vacation. You look for about 5 minutes, walk upriver about 1000 yards and back, and you're done. You could take a boat trip to see the bottom, or you could also take a skyway/tram thing that just hangs above the thing on wires and crosses from/to the American and Canadian sides, but we didn't have time.
